Passionate & Knowledgeable Guides
We know that guides are a big part of your experience while on safari, in many ways they can ‘make or break it’. Over the years we have worked with the best guides who offer amazing experiences. Our guides are passionate about their work and also invest in growing their knowledge of the destinations, which thankfully in most cases is the same as their country. Our guides are naturalists guides and are members of the different guides associations in their respective countries. We offer specialized birding safaris and ornithology trips with trained birdwatching guides. On request we provide language guides for Spanish, French and German.

Comfortable Vehicles

Africa Moja Safaris vehicles are serviced on regular basis to ensure clients’ comfort and safety with minimum risk of break down. We run our tours in 4×4 land cruisers with pop up roofs and we ensure that everyone has a window seat for wildlife viewing and photography. You have exclusive access to the vehicle for the entire period of your safari.

Flying Safaris
Africa Moja Safaris organizes flying safaris to all the destinations we offer, sometimes scheduled flights or charter. There is also an option of helicopters for areas without airstrips. This can be in combination with road travels where part of the journey is taken on road. The client sometimes chooses to fly between destinations that take more than five hours of driving. Whatever your reason of flying, we do arrange for a beautiful experience in the bush planes across our destinations.

Remarkable Lodges
Africa Moja Safaris partners with amazing luxury safari lodges and tented camps built mostly with local materials and décor. These are often set in prime locations as close to the wilderness as possible giving one a true wilderness experience. The rooms are often secluded each with enough living space and a pool in certain instances to plunge in after your time in the wild. The lodges have trained staff and are intimately involved in their local communities by employing locals and running projects.

Responsible Tourism
We are passionate about linking tourism to rural community development so the ‘tourism dollar’ can reach the communities. This ensures communities living adjacent to the park and those along the ‘tourism route’ get actively engaged in conservation of wildlife and environment because they directly benefit from it. We encourage our clients to visit communities and ‘home stays’ and or engage in a community activity that lasts from 1 hour to several hours or over nights. The community activities include village walks which often lead to local schools and health centres, cooking and gardening, visit to traditional healers, learning basketry, and many others, offering you insight in the daily life of the local people. We give part of the our profits to community schools to purchase laboratory equipment and to a project known as – Community Initiative for Children at Risk.

Accreditation
We are tourism wholesalers/ suppliers based in Kampala – Uganda. We are licensed with Uganda Tourism Board on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities of Uganda. We have insurance with AMREF for tourist air evacuation in case of accident to Nairobi for further management. We have tour operators liability with SATIB Insurance.
